Head of Debt Securities Sales & Trading – Latin America

Title: Head of Sales/Trading Team (Latin America Fixed Income)
Respected broker is building Fixed Income team. Business will focus on matching buyers and sellers of distressed fixed income assets: Top Origination, Distribution professionals. Suitable backgrounds include:
1) MD/ Director level Credit head of desk, could come from either : Secondary trading desk, Structured credit head, responsible for sales, origination and distribution; Investor solutions head from Credit desk, Head of FI sales. Candidates should have contact with buyers and sellers of what is now distressed – it may not have been distressed at the time. We are looking for people with relations into the buy and sell side across Latin America & the Middle East.

Other profiles required:

Origination or Distribution of secondary loan product, distressed bonds, sub-investment grade bonds, structured credit. Latin America & the Middle East.

We are interested in speaking to people that have actively originated and/or distributed bonds, loans, distressed products, and run these types of teams in Latin Amerca. We expect a solid understanding of pricing in the market, superlative negotiation skills, and a proven track record of sucess from a respected institution. I would be interested in speaking to those who understand the possibilities of growing this business correctly.
The group is populated by senior desk heads from leading sell side firms.
