Head of Debt Capital Market- Latin America

The Role:

Coverage of corporate and financial institutions clients in the Latin American region for the origination of public and privately executed financing transactions.

Preparing all requisite credit analysis and transaction memoranda for obtaining approval of bridge loans,and underwritings.

Independently negotiate, manage and close debt and financing transactions

Monitoring and staying up-to-date with market trends in the overall emerging markets, and the Latin America region in particular

Maintaining the relationship with the issuers, and providing them with pricing indications and marketing materials.

Manage in all aspects of loan placement

Work with senior partners on loan assumptions and restructuring of loans.

Coordinate & prepare loan request packages. Manage lender relationships.

Coordinate and manage lender communications and project manage due diligence of new borrowings including insurance review and engagement of third party audit, legal, appraisal, engineering and environmental reports.

Prepare Capital Markets update for various management committees.

Requirements:

Should be a Senior member of the Emerging Markets DCM Origination team

Be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to build effective relationships at all levels

Ensure work is produced to tight deadlines, often under pressure, without impact on quality of deliverable or clarity of presentation.

Should be able to identify opportunities, pitch, originate, win, execute and close transactions.
